In Haitian-American Phanésia Pharel's "THE WATERFALL" - Marked by Pharel’s poetic and emotionally resonant storytelling, the play explores the relationship between a Haiti-born woman and her American-born daughter. 

Pharel is a rising voice in contemporary American theater, with recognition from the Kilroys List, the Kennedy Center and the Obie Award-winning EST/Youngblood collective. 

The Porch’s Associate Artistic Director Pascale Florestal, herself of Haitian descent, directs.
