ALICIA SVIGALS, a founder of the Grammy-winning Klezmatics, is widely considered to be the world's greatest klezmer fiddler. 

Her groundbreaking 1997 album "Fidl" sparked a worldwide klezmer fiddle revival. 

This summer sees the release of her long-awaited follow up, "Fidl Afire," and she'll celebrate with a show at THE BURREN backed up by Boston's top klezmer players: Hankus Netsky on keys, Grant Smith on drums, Jim Guttman on bass, Mark Hamilton on trombone and Mark Berney on trumpet.
