ABOUT THE EVENT

In May of 2021, Rosemary Mitchell, a hardworking and loving senior in high school, was finishing her exams and planning for college.

All of this changed when she collapsed in her mother’s arms two days after her prom.

She was rushed to the hospital and transported to Boston Children’s where she was diagnosed with one of the rarest and most deadly forms of brain cancer—a form known as DLGNT.

Rosie is a “Calliope kid.” She appeared in four shows in Calliope Productions’ youth programs.

To help the Mitchell family with the medical costs of Rosie’s care, Calliope is staging a one-night only benefit, featuring performances by her fellow youth workshop graduates.

One hundred percent of the proceeds of this event will go directly to the Mitchell family.

The benefit will be on Saturday, January 14th at 7pm.

The cost is $15.

We will accept cash and credit card.

All monies will be donated to the Mitchell family via their GoFundMe page.

Total number of seats available is 150.
