The story's been told for centuries, but never like this!  Join a rollicking band of players as they tackle the story of King Arthur and those closest to him with gusto, irreverence, and plenty of heart! 


We recognize that circumstances are constantly in flux regarding COVID-19 and are committed to keeping everyone involved with Camelot safe.

Protective Measures Currently in Consideration:

  • Requiring proof of full vaccination from participants, including boosters (already in place)
  • Requiring masks during rehearsals and potentially performances, depending on current recommendations
  • Providing N95 masks to performers for the rehearsal period, if they don't have their own
  • Requiring and/or providing rapid tests for participants leading up to and during tech week; 
  • Limiting audience size
  • Requiring masks and/or vaccinations for audience
  • Keeping rehearsal sizes small, and potentially rehearsing remotely when practical. 


The Lilac Players are a new, Boston-area community theater troupe. We seek to celebrate and showcase feminist and LGBTQIA+ artists and works, with a focus on musical theater.
