MAJESTIC THEATER ANNOUNCES AUDITIONS DATES FOR 2022-2023 SEASON

PRESS RELEASE:

Auditions for both Equity and non-Equity performers for roles in the upcoming 2022-2023 Season will be held at the Majestic Theater in West Springfield June 27 through July 2 according to Producing Director Danny Eaton.  

This will be the 25th Season of performances since the Majestic was re-opened for live theater in March 1997. 

Auditions will be held on the following dates: 

For Equity actors:

Monday, June 27 – 10:00 a.m. – 6:00 p.m.

Tuesday, June 28 - 10:00 a.m. – 6:00 p.m.

For non-Equity actors:

Wednesday, June 29 – 6:00 – 10:00 p.m.

Thursday, June 30 - 6:00 – 10:00 p.m.

Friday, July 1 - 6:00 – 10:00 p.m.

Saturday, July 2 – 12:00 p.m. – 3:00 p.m. 

To book an audition time, performers must call the theater at (413) 747-7797. 

Actors will be auditioned for parts in the following productions: 

“Mamma Mia” (comedy) which runs September 8 through October 16, 2022, 

“Love, Milly & Murray” (comedy) which runs October 27 through December 4, 2022, 

“Native Gardens” (comedy) which runs January 5 – February 12, 2023, 

and 

“Buddy: The Buddy Holly Story” (musical) which runs April 13 through May 28, 2023. 

Non-Equity performers new to the Majestic should prepare a brief monologue of their choice, and bring a picture and resume.  

They will also be asked to read from prepared script selections.  

People auditioning and performing at the Majestic must be fully vaccinated against COVID-19 and be prepared to show their vaccination card.
